Title: Bonds tested hot but
Post by: Eagleone on January 11, 2007, 05:20:13 AM
blames a teammate.  Nothing like accepting responsibility for ones own actions.... :sad3:  Think if I were his teammate it might be time for a blanket party!

I'm so tired of Bonds' act. (and I'm a Giants fan  [sm_disgust])

Go away already, Barry.

I agree.  He is the Millie Vanillie of baseball.

Pretending for the moment that his story is true, my question is: why would anyone who is under as much intense scrutiny as Bonds take a substance, any substance from anyone, without knowing exactly what it is and what it may or may not do to a drug test?

The excuse is lame, and that fact that he's trying to use his [probably unwitting] teammate as a human shield is worse. I don't care how many homers a guy can jack up, he's poison and MLB (not just the Giants) should dump him. Unfortunately he puts asses in seats, and it's ultimately more about the money than what he does to the game, his team, and their respective reputations.

That pretty much sums it up.

And to think the Giants were stupid enough to give this guy $16 million for next year, even though no other team expressed interest in his sorry ass.

Oh well, stupid is as stupid does.   ::)
