it's still around the 3.00-3.09 range everywhere else I've seen, not sure why it's so low there.

Everywhere around here gas is 2.50 to 2.70. We are usually lower then the average.

We are still among the highest in the nation and well above the national average. And I can literally see refineries from my house.

NIMBY my ass, we've got five of them in our backyard, and they were there long before we were. I don't mind them being there, I just wish I got to reap some small reward for it.
