Doesn't anyone remember the Jill Sobule hit "I Kissed a Girl" from 1995? Oh, the tragedy of one-hit wonders. If girls kissing girls is the new trend, then I hope these girls are uber-trendy and are also posting these kisses to YouTube.

LMAO

Katherine Kersten is one of the best unintentional comedy writers around. I know she was hired by the Strib to write from the conservative point of view but most of the time she is so far over the top it almost seems like parody.

"Girls making out with each other to turn on guys is the latest craze at high school and college parties," according to the online magazine Salon.com.
So, who among us will team up and test this theory with genders reversed?

My suggestion was going to be MFAWG and PaunchyBald, but the stumbling block would be deciding which one would shave his arms.

Between the sense of color and accessorizing displayed in his motorcycle garb, the finger-point, and the default state of drunk-n-easy, we'd crossed him off the list -- we were after something of a challenge.  (Damn, I'm glad I didn't write that we wanted it to be at least a little bit hard.)

I.e., you need a stiff one?  Sounds about right.

After all this time I've still never bothered to look up Ric Romero - who is he, and is it worth my time?

A few years ago wrote an article about the "brand new exciting concept" of The Blog.  About 4 years after The Blog was a brand new exciting concept.

Any new discovery of something people have know about for a while is a Ric Romero.

No one outside this site, but I don't get out much.  And the only tangible bio forms I interact with have no knowledge of the intergoogles existing beyond MSN.  Maybe Ebay.  But they're the advanced life forms.

Clive, you really need to venture out into a forum where memes accelerate to a couple 1000 posts a day.

That would require that I know what a "meme" is.

I believe "meme" is the word for inexplicable interweb phenomena that get rapidly passed around from tube to tube. Star Wars Kid, for example.

I think Ric Romero is popular on Fark.
