Post by: spacey on October 03, 2006, 01:36:09 PM I was listening to an analyst from the Brookings Institute this morning (not that I put a ton of stock in "think tank" analysis) speculate that a gain of 30 seats in the House and 6-7 seats in the Senate wasn't totally out of the realm of possibility. I don't know that the Foley fall out will have that huge of an impact, but you can probably go ahead and stick a fork in Hastert, though I don't believe he'll resign until after November.
