Anyways, so Planet Terror has all the fun visual flair and camp, and DeathProof has all the great action and dialogue. Great performance from Russel in DeathProof, and McGowan hobbling around on the machine gun leg is a nonstop riot in Planet Terror. Even though most of the gore is comically over the top, it's still not for the faint of heart. It got a near standing ovation, and it deserved it. Two really good flicks for the price of one, and the most hilarious part was (other than the noumerous cameos here and there) the "missing reel" idea. Really cool. If gore won't make you flinch, go see it yesterday.
