Have you tried them anywhere with full swings? Any idea how far they actually travel?

not yet

the box says they go 30-40% of your normal distance... and about 40-50% with wedges  (so something like ~100 yards with a driver, 50 yards with a 50* )

I've never tried them, but have heard them highly praised on FGI several times.

I'm a big fan of "almost golf" balls and highly recommend them. They fly like real balls but only a third to half the distance. Almost impossible to damage anything with them - my kids have hit cars, houses, windows, etc.. with zero damage.  ;)

I use them for quick practice sessions at the local school when I don't have time to get to the range. My son and I play "catch" where we stand 40-50 yards apart and hit wedge shots back and forth.

Thanks for the welcome! Thought I'd wander over here from FGI and see if this is where "everyone" has gone.
