I'd love to get Torres on my team.  I'd have to give up another Pool player though and they've been money for me so far.

Pre-season genius on my part [sm_thankyou]  ;D

Hunt is a good grab though - that guy has been all over the pitch making things happen.  The way he plays though makes me wonder how long it is before he's injured.  I'd like to get Gerrard on my roster, but it would take some maneuvering and I don't want to mess with a good thing right now.

Valencia's been great for me too.  I've had him since day one.  He's hurt now though.

If I can get back to where I'm making trades for performance rather than injury I think I'll be dumping Tevez.  Maybe he'll be better when he's Rooney comes back and he's not playing alone up front and/or when Ronaldo comes back from the principal's office and starts to provide some decent service.  If so, I'll change my mind.

Reina has a PK save and six points in the first half.  I thought, 'oh crap, aske has him as captain and double points'.  But no, he sat him.   :o

I call that a Uisce-ism.  Finally I've picked a captain who is treating me right but I selected the wrong guy in a big way for the first four weeks.

Reina ended up with a clean sheet and 11 points.   [sm_devil]

Good week for me.  Woot.   ;D

Still have a player in tonight's match too.  Not that a Derby forward is going to earn me more than a couple of points.  Still, he was cheap.

Correction.  Howard gets me five points.   [sm_buddies]

Screw Howard - it took a gunner to put you over the top, nice captain choice  [sm_devil] ;)

He's been gold for me since I picked him up about three weeks ago.  I've been playing him captain every week, doesn't matter who they're playing, and I don't plan on changing that plan.

Player of the Year so far.  It's early yet obviously but if the vote happened today it would probably be unanimous.
