Title: MNF (Spoiler)
Post by: Spanky on October 08, 2007, 07:00:22 PM
Love those Bills uniforms. Reminds me of when I was young and watched them.

Romo looking bad tonight, 3 INTs

What is with all the throwbacks this year?  Anything special?   [sm_dontknow]  I saw the  Chargers, and I thought the Steelers too.

When are the Pats., and the Buc.s doin' it.?

what the *fudge*.  i went out to play tennis as this game should have been  a 41-3 wipeout.

jeebus.   any given monday.

i guess this settles any doubt that the afc >>>> the nfc.  top 6 afc teams wipe the bills out by 14+ guaranteed.

[tj] Did you notice the Vikings last week?

I thought something was odd until they mentioned it. They were wearing throwbacks. Hard to tell as they really haven't changed drastically over the years.

From http://www.twincities.com/ci_7021056?source=rss

Alumni Weekend: Running back Chuck Foreman's induction into the Vikings' Ring of Honor during halftime Sunday will be part of a big weekend that includes a Saturday afternoon autograph session at Mall of America and private alumni dinner later that night.

Foreman will serve as honorary captain for Sunday's game, and the Vikings will wear throwback uniforms representative of those they wore during his playing days from 1973-79. [/tj]

really bad clock management by dallas on this last-gasp  drive.  timeouts (3)... using one at 2:36 would have helped a lot if they need to count on an onside kick (assuming a failed 2 point conversion).

Sorry.  :sad3:

It's been difficult for me to pay rapt attention to these jokers the past few years. After all I had a very traumatic childhood during the 70's what with stomaching 4 SB losses and all. Somehow I grew up with my sports psyche relatively unscathed and I thank the Twins in '87 and '91 for restoring my childlike feelings for my teams.

Then came '98 and '00. They're just lucky I didn't drive down to 34 Kirby Puckett Place and blow the *fudge*er up.

anyone watched all of this ?

were all the picks dumb decisions? or just some throws that were offline, or what?

after watching the bills a couple times this year, it's hard to fathom

WTF !>!??!?!

philips wastes time from 0:31 to 0:24 to decide to use the last timeout.

The ones I saw were into coverage.  Not stupid, but not HOF passes.

East coast bias?

Quote going away from coverage to sportcenter:  "A terrible showing by the Cowboys, but able to lift them over a  very strong showing by th Bills (something like that)"

Collapse?  Comeback?

looking at cbs sportsline and the highlights they played at the end all of buffalos points came on special teams and defensive scores.   that's a tough recipe for a win.  ask chicago

Is it just me, or on the post game interview with Tafoya;  Did Romo look like a cross between Andy Griffith, Woody from Toy Story, and that big moon faced guy from McDonald's "Mac Tonight" ads in the '80s?

after watching the bills a couple times this year, it's hard to fathom
1)  horribly overthrown ball right to the guy
2)  guy jumped an out route with Romo watching reciever the whole time
3)  threw right at lineman that tipped it and caught nice play
4)  i think it was a tipped ball can't remember so many ints
5)  into triple zone coverage watching reciever the entire time not seeing LB

He pretty much stunk up the place.  One of the best endings I've seen in a football game though.

It's all good.  The putt was conceded.
