If anyone is interested, submit who you believe will be the top 16 scorers from each conference. That means you'll be selecting 32 skaters. Then PM me with your selections and I will input everyone's roster into an online pool site.

The playoffs start Wednesday night (Apr 11), so entries would have to be in by 3pm Wednesday.

I'll donate a dozen golf balls to the winner.

Damn, this contest sounds like you actually have to know *feces* about hockey. Is there a list of players somewhere that I can just randomly select 32 guys? Either that or Aske can go ahead and pick my players and if I win, I'll split the prize with him.

Maybe I'll just wait for the NBA playoff contest instead.  :sad3:

Sounds kewl!  But I'm sad to say that I don't know many players outside of my favorite team.  I'll try to find time to go over to nhl.com and make my choices.  What would be the deadline for entries?

Well, I think, me picking in the hockey pool, would be akin to Don Imus joining spacey at the Ice Cube show.  I would feel too much like Senior` Bacon.

I can understand Twoiron passing on this, but Stroh, you're from one of the most hockey-savvy states in the country.  You don't want to take a shot at a dozen golf balls??

Same here -- where I grew up ice was something you put in the tea!

I'm also thinking I'll pass on this one. If I somehow managed to win, I'd feel too much like the secretary who wins the office NCAA pool every year by picking teams based on things like "I'm pretty sure a gator could beat a badger" and "ooh, I really like their uniforms." Good luck to all the hockey fans, though.
