When they described the thin-sleek-largescreen ergonomics I thought, "mmmm, sounds like they've caught up to a samsung"
The map app fail quashed any thoughts I might have entertained over joining the borg.

Right now, Barry has a 77.3% chance of winning. I think the world of this forecasting methodology....they nailed 2008 with extremely high precision. Furthermore, Romney has reportedly bailed out of Michigan and Pennsylvania to double down resources in other swing states So in answer to your question, no, it does not really appear to be much of a contest at this time.

"That's why parents have children -- to hand down their legacies, their belief systems, the way they want their children raised," Assembly member Shannon Grove, R-Bakersfield, was quoted by Reuters as saying. No. We have children because it is a biological imperative. [sigh]

I'm going to be attending a wedding in Gettysburg next month (first time I've set foot in my home state in 15+ years) and will see some friends who are Penn State alumni that I haven't seen in ages. I'm interested in hearing their takes on all this, both from Penn Staters living in PA and those living elsewhere. I have such an outside view of things way out here.
There seems to be a lot of denial up there. I hope karma behaves well, so this kid doesn't get molested before s/he grows up.

On July 4th we celebrate the birthday of Jesus' Constitution and the Federalist Society, so this is a very BIG deal and on behalf of my ~330 US American colleagues, I'd like to personally thank you for the sentiment.
I'd now like to share with you a TRUE conversation held in my household after dinner on July 3rd:
Blader: So, what are the plans for tomorrow?
Blader Jr: (hopefully) Yea Man!!! BBQ and fireworks at the club!
Mrs Blader: No. We're just going to have a quiet meal at home.
Blader: OK. I'll BBQ up some ribs
Blader Jr: Yea man!!!
Mrs Blader: No. I'm making a salad. We're just having salad.
wtf? If I show up on the intergoobles someday soon to announce my wife has contracted some horrifically debilitating and irreversible fatal neurodegenerative disorder, you will note this post as the first definitive evidence of same.

I read this and decided to perform an experiment.
Frankly, I didn't observe any decrement in copulatory fitness whilst wearing crocs. They may have made a funny squishy squeaky fappie sound, but it was pretty loud anyway sod I couldn't really tell if it was the crocs or something else.

Take away 21% of their scholarships for three years and also take away any championship titles, including wild card, conference, league and superbowl titles. NO MORE BOWL GAMES for life!!!!
They can keep any Grand Marshall of the Parade titles they've accumulated. whatev. nobody cares about that at all anyway
