At least the Colts did it "the Lord's way."

watching the game early, the whole focus of  play calling to avoid the evil rex clusterfark  was hilarious.    really,  is there a worse qb in the league outside of oakland?

Without being too much of a football analyst ...

The Bears like to throw the deep ball, and Grossman is Jekyll and Hyde.  The Colts said before the game that they were going to stack their defense against the run and dump pass, basically daring Grossman to throw long.  The rain and wind played right into the hands of the Colts defense.

As the weather got worse, I was puzzled why the Bears didn't start playing more for the short pass and run.  They kept protecting against the deep ball, but I don't know that Manning could've thrown it very well on that particular night.  Especially if Chicago would had blitzed a little more.
