hahaha, if that's what you want, why not. keep in mind if it's that time of the month, you're eating it.

Are you looking for specifics or just a general thing ie eggs vs western omlette?

Is the reason for this question based on the assumption that one has done some kind of crime and is likley to be sharing a room with a bloke who goes by the name of "Bubba"??

LOL.  nope.  i was more interested to just see how much in common people would pick if they had to eat the same thing every day.

i know that i certainly wouldnt want some of my favorite dishes, every single day.

I'd be happy to cook it for you if you don't mind me doing it between cleaning the floors and getting the laundry done.

Geez, then I'll just specify a gigantic meal so I can pick and choose parts of it each day.
 [sm_devil]

With the stipulation that you clean your plate every meal ...

Breakfast: scrambled eggs (one egg + two egg whites) on unbuttered toast, slice of cheese (or shredded); a GOOD apple, large coffee.

Lunch: turkey and swiss on wheat, with lettuce, two slices of a GOOD tomato, and very light mayo; one carrot; one-half bell pepper (but not the seeds and white crap inside, obviously), water.

Supper: Meatloaf (mix of ground beef and turkey); garlic mashed potatoes; steamed broccoli; one glass of a GOOD red wine; water; cup of mixed fruit.

breakfast: french toast, bacon, fruit, oj and water. (way to much food, but a little of each)

lunch: fajita chicken salad (lettuce, bell peppers, onions, pico de gallo, cheese, hot sauce, chicken), lemonade or water to drink. If I'm not working, perhaps a margarita.

dinner: I could go for a salad again. romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, crutons, peas, carrots, celery. Catalina dressing. With either ham, turkey, or chicken on top. Perhaps some bread with it. water to drink or shiner bock.

Once a month for dessert, maybe more, key lime pie or strawberry rhubarb pie (a piece of)

I've come to the conclusion that I simply could not do it.  Hobbits are not built in such a manner.  Real danger of insanity n all.  No one wants to see me go cocoa puffs crazy - I'll flat out rip fools.

you're put in a position whereby:

you are only allowed to eat the same breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day, for the rest of your life.

what would your choices be ?

I'd definitely have a buffet for the breakfast.

For a lunch?  That's a tough one, but I'd probably do a buffet.

Dinner is easy: Buffet

trying to  dance your way around the question i see.

nope, the issue was to name a specific dish.  not a type of service.   ;)

I hate to go all literal on you, but, as your quotation clearly indicates, you most certainly did NOT impose a "specific dish" restriction.  Unless you are claiming ESP, in which case I call "Bull!"

Let's assume all meat, produce, breads, etc are top-quality and fresh:

Breakfast: 2 Eggs over-easy, ham, buttered toast with orange marmalade on side, a slice of cantaloupe, small cranberry juice, bottomless coffee

Lunch: Turkey sandwich on whole grain wheat bread with avocado, tomato, sprouts, and dijon mustard, no mayo. Small side of pasta salad, pear with cottage cheese, and a Diet Coke.

Dinner: Mixed green salad (lots of colored veggies, no iceberg lettuce) w/ olive oil vinaigrette, roast pork tenderloin, grilled asparagus, zucchini, and eggplant, mashed red potatoes (with skins), Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.

After dinner cocktails: Small batch Kentucky straight bourbon, ice.

By about day 25, you could probably substitute any of the meals with the business end of a shotgun.
