Between that and Crazypants doubling the *fudge* down on vaccinations today, I'd say 2012 is pretty much a lock for Obama. The GOP has gone from a stable 3 legged stool of probusiness NE bluebloods, socially conservative working and middle class folks, and evangelical christians to an assortment of conspiracy theorists and greedheads that we'd better off putting on an iceflow and sending on their way.

Romney is the only one remotely electable, but the crazies want NO part of him. I suspect they are desparately trying to draft Christie or anyone else, but the smart guys are sitting '12 out.

Paul's answer was people should have the right to take the risk of declining health insurance.

Turns out, his own dood (http://thinkprogress.org/health/2011/09/15/320114/obamacare-ron-paul-staffer/) who died a miserable penniless death didn't, strictly speaking, have such a right.  He didn't have health insurance due to a pre-existing condition called the ghey disease.  Which was his fault anyway.  So there. Too bad.

did you notice his pause though? like at first he was (like audience did) say no, let them die.
then his old codger memory kicked in and he thought about the hippocratic oath

oh well

F him

look, i honestly think that after Paul dies the lonely decrepit death he deserves that his brain should be harvested (by presidential declaration on the basis of national security) and subjected to the sort of rigorous scientific analysis only we are capable of because it is possible his abject soullessness could be caused by an unknown virus or some supernatural alien force

We ain't got no use fer yore fancypants 'Sintific Analcist' in real 'Merka, Mr. SmartyPants Librul!

They're basically handing Obama a 2d term at this point. LBJ won a 2d term by portraying Goldwater as an unstable radical on much less material than the Dems have now.
