Title: Dr. Aske (Sal too) Is A Man Of Honor!
Post by: professor on January 13, 2007, 10:55:41 AM
Well done aske!

Debt is paid!!!   :-X

Only needed Tin Snips to open.  Nice challenge there...  About as hard as winning the bet!  ;)  Perhaps in the future one as intelligent as yourself won't give 3-1 odds?

Oh, my youngest boy will enjoy the "Catalog".  Thanks for that.  Well deserved.

Only needed pinking shears to open.
Dare I ask why a grown man has PINKING SHEARS handy?

 [sm_shock] [sm_devil] ;D ;D

Quote
Pinking shears are scissors, the blades of which are sawtoothed instead of straight. Pinking shears leave a zigzag pattern instead of a straight edge.

Pinking shears have a utilitarian function for cutting woven cloth. Cloth edges that are unfinished will easily fray, the weave becoming undone and threads pulling out easily. The sawtooth pattern does not prevent the fraying but limits the length of the frayed thread and thus limits damage.

These scissors can also be used for decorative cuts and a number of patterns (arches, sawtooth of different aspect ratios, or asymmetric teeth) are available.

I don't know what all this fuss about "pinking shears" is?

Yup, plenty of balls now.  ProVI's through all of '07!

Oohh. That's what those zig-zaggy scissors are. I never knew.

(Karma +1 BTW, Prof. Aske is, indeed, a man of honor.)

Steeler Logoed?

Once I finally opened the Titleist box there was this horrific odor.   Took me a while to  get to it because, it was hermetically sealed with 5,000 wraps of clear packing tape over several sets of cardboard boxes!  Nice touche!

The odor was that of "death".  There was also some strange looking logo on each ball - some crazy "goth" (I guess) symbol.  Oh, they just wreaked of evil!  They're airing out back now.

Way to go Prof and Aske!

Sal is not a man of honor.  She's a pretty flower.
A violet perhaps?  Or a laurel?
