Post by: dystopia on December 10, 2006, 02:58:40 PM
We have 6 wine opener/corkscrews in our house, but I don't like any of them. >:(  What kind of device do you guys use to open your wine at home?

We have one like this:
http://www.amazon.com/MIU-France-Zinc-Alloy-Opener/dp/B0006ABVK2/sr=1-1/qid=1165805753/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-9548140-1984118?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden
Works like magic on real corks. Works okay on the synthetic corks a lot of labels are going with these days, but not quite as well.

LMAO at Cameo.  That video with the red codpiece is etched into my mind forever. ;D

Good suggestions.  I like that style a lot.  My neighbor has one of those type and it looks so smooth and error-proof.

Bought loads over the years, they always seem to go AWOL.

Now it's usually one of the free ones the liquor stores give out when you buy there.

My parents have the cordless electric job. Style. It's pretty slick, if not a little pretentious.
