re:  Obama.

I don't really know if he deserves this or not.  Perhaps he should be rewarded for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples".   That's for others (retarded Norwegians) to decide.  However, he's not been long on the scene.  Even if you count his candidacy he's been in the mix for no more than 18 months or so.  Strikes me there are people doing exceptional things for 30-40 years who might be better selections.

Oh yeah, think what you want about Reagan but to give this thing to Gorbachev and pass on Reagan is another example of the dumbassiness of these people.  Even if one believes Gorbachev would have eventually torn down that wall all by his lonesome I think even the most myopic of libtards would agree those two are a package deal.  They will always be on the same page of the history book.

Maybe.

Although I think most people (including righties but perhaps not whackjob righties) have long since stopped paying attention when Oslo passes gas.  I mean, seriously, Yassar Arafat and David Trimble?  They haven't always got it wrong but selecting terrorists and allies of terrorists strikes me as a bit odd *goshdarn* retarded.

I used to be thrilled with your worm obsession.

Now it's starting to creep me out.

I drive by there every day.  Weird park.  There's a fake garden with statues of people with plows, shovels and hoes working away.  I wonder if there are bronze cabbages in there.  I'd like to have a bronze cabbage.

If I had only made my man Cesc captain......

But Torres was red hot and I continued with him - to get a big 2 points  Embarrassed

Y'all are luck I'm not 20 points higher based upon this mistake  Cool

Whatever.

IF last week I'd picked Bent or Torres over Drogba THEN I'd have a dozen more points AND five extra shelter kittens would have been adopted.  I'll happily give Mark credit for trading for Fabregas and making him captain.  You had him already and didn't trust him.  You suck.

“I told *8==>* when I got here today,” manager Dusty Baker said. “He was hurt, and it was difficult for me, because you know how close we are. I’d rather be the one to tell him because of my relationship with *8==>* and my respect for what he’s done in the game. It was a tough decision, an organizational decision. I don’t want to get into specifics because I don’t think that would serve a point.”

I took a course once, but couldn't successfully answer which was for shooting and which was for fun.

Did they let you have the merit badge anyway?

I have a carry permit, and the penalty for getting caught carrying and drinking is pretty much the same as fora DUI, with the added caveat that the state keeps the firearm.

A CCW in The People's Republix of the PacNW???   Shocked

Man, I bet you're on some lists.

As carrying the firearm with the chamber empty, but with a full magazine, meets this definition (the handler must chamber a round, and then pull the trigger), this is a common work around for Utah residents who do not wish to acquire a permit.

Beautiful. Gun laws written by folks what know how a gun actually *goshdarn* works.

I assume the cop is permitted to whomp you upside the head for carrying a firearm with a round chambered? Open hand of course.

Our cops don't necessarily know our gun laws.  There are some (not so) funny stories floating around about cops improperly reacting to someone open carrying.  Best policy is to always tell LE your status, "I have a CCW and there is a .380 in glove box, round chambered, full mag, three boxes of ammo in the trunk."   Unless, I guess, it's illegal for you to have the firearm in that condition.

You can open or conceal carry with a round chambered if you have a permit.  Anyone, well, given a few sensible caveats, can open carry with the two action provision without a permit.  For an open carry state with the most liberal gun laws in the country it's amazing how you never see anyone open carrying.

We take guns fairly seriously here.  There's a whole book - http://www.firearmslaw.com/
