7.1 speaker system (rarely used as 7.1)
HD-DVD player  :'( :sad3:
Oppo DVD player
PS3

I wish I had one.  Homes in Oklahoma don't have basements generally.  We have a "smoke" room in our third bedroom though.  It has a loveseat, coffee table and TV, where we retire once the boy goes to sleep.

None- Just the living room.

I was just talking about "man rooms" with a couple coworkers today at lunch.  Seems I'm the odd man out here -- no man room.  I do have a quarter of the garage to myself, so long as I keep moving the wife's/child's crap out of it every few days.

Does my office at work count?

I don't have a man cave as much as rule a fiefdom.

Spare bedroom
2 leather recliners and an old love seat, circa 1998
Dog throw on the love seat, usually with a dog on the throw
6 year old RCA 32" CRT SDTV
New Sony DAV-HDX500/i BRAVIA Home Theater System
TV stand from Target
A couple of watercolors of Salt Air on the wall
End table, typically with a dead soldier or two on it from the previous night

Yeah, good stuff.

None here.

The main tv rig is in the living room.  Ever since we got a DVR, the wife uses that room more than I do.

The closest thing to a Man Cave in our house is this:

My soon to be complete man cave will not likely feel much like a man cave - I placated my wife and said ok to her colors - but it will act like one.  Setup will be similar to yours, Teed.  12' x 22' dedicated theater room.  It will have:

two rows of seating (either recliners or some modern sofas)
popcorn machine (outside the room)
projector (Panasonic, not sure yet whether I'll go 1080 - we'll wait for the final bill on the basement)
106" screen
7.1 speaker system with acoustical treatments done by bpape on AVS
HD-DVD player - I wish (f'ing Blue Ray BS)
Denon or Yamaha Receiver

We'll see about a Wii or PS3...

I met one of my neighbors on AVS.  He's acted as a consultant on the project to my builder and has done the acoustical treatments and will be running the track for the fabric.  When my wife heard his set-up, she was on board [sm_devil] [sm_devil] [sm_devil]

Obviously no man cave for me. :D  No sewing/craft/art room here, either.  My room pretty much suffices as my own little den.  Sometimes, I'll work on a project in the living room, but usually I'm in my room.

No  :airquotes: man cave  :airquotes: for me.

my man cave is currently under reconstruction. i couldn't pull another nail today if my life depended on it. popeye's arms aren't quite as swelled as mine are currently. ripping up the floor that was tri-sected  [sm_dunno] harwood-carpet-hardwood right down to the joists. the new floor will be wall to wall laminate.  ;)

anyhoo, it consists of my lcd, xbox 360, 2 computer desks, mine-theirs, couch and fireplace.

Most of my time is split between the living room and office....

Living Room:
50" plasma
HD-DVD player  :'( :sad3:
Denon AV receiver
5.1 surround speakers
Charter cable with all the fixins + HD-DVR(moxi)
Half-built media server
Leather, reclining sofa and loveseat

Office:
Main PC - year and half old (23" wide-screen  :D )
Old PC - 5+ years old
Server (1.2TB RAID5 storage) - year and a half old
Laptop - 3+ years old (in the kitchen most of the time actually)
Broken photo-quality color printer/scanner/fax  [sm_devil]

Notice...... no game console  [sm_shock]  ;)

Absolutely.  I'll show you mine if you show me yours. [sm_shock]

We probably just over a week from being finished, depending on whether the sconces arrive next week as anticipated.  As for the electronic components, I've been too busy to figure out exactly what I want.  It won't look / feel too much like a man cave.  I've tried to finish off the basement so that it feels like nice living space for my folks, who want to start spending longer visits with us when my dad retires next year, as opposed the "man cave."  Given I'm going with almost the exact same set-up as my neighbor, the room should perform admirably.  We'll soon see/hear

Nothing here to speak of.

Kind of like others have said, a part of the garage that keeps filling up with the girls' stuff, and just a tv downstairs, with 29 dollar dvd player.

Teed,

I have not taken good pics yet, but will try to link a couple here.  We ended up with the following:

1. Ascend Acoustic 340SEs (LCR)
2. Hsu Research VTF2-MK 3 sub
3. Yamaha RXV-3800 receiver
4. Panasonic AE1000U projector (1080p)
5. Carada 104" (or 106" - can't recall) screen
6. URC MX-810 remote and 260 RF base station
7. Chief Mount for the projector
8. PS3 for Blu-Ray - until the player comes out that I want
9. Insteon switches for lighting
10. Rows of 3 and 4 Berkline recliners (motorized) - still waiting on one of them.

Mine is the highway scene from Transformers.

I think that was actually from one of the guys working on the room.  That said, I'll be guilty of it many times over, as I'm addicted to the stuff.  "Man Cave" really does not work for the room, more like "Pottery Barn Cave" with the sage green and dark espresso finish - yeah, I work with designers...  It sounds good, though.

Considering it's a color scheme favorite of designers right now....you didn't say "fabulous", did you?

Mine is the highway scene from Transformers.

The electronics were just installed last weekend and I headed up to NC for business for a couple of days.  Have not watched a full movie on it yet, though have played a couple of games.  PS3 in 1080p on 104" = cool.  Transformers is actually one of the ones on my need to watch list.

The guy doing a lot of the work is one of my neighbors.  Had not met him before this - I found him on AVS through his construction thread.  Found in his signature that he was in Georgia.  PM'd him.  He lives in the next cul-de-sac over from me... Funny chit.

I'm really happy with it, though don't have a lot of experience.  I test drove my neighbor's system before selecting things.  I went with the same speakers as he did, as his system sounded kick-butt.  No need for butt-kickers, the HSU subwoofer throws it out.  I went with the Yamaha 3800 because of all of the sound processing capabilities (hence holding off on one of the new Blu-Ray players that matches its capabilities), and because my neighbor was familiar with the set-up and integration w/ the remote.  He likes Panasonic projectors for their quality and service, as well as their flexibility in adjustments and throws.  I was going to get the 200 (720p), but it only came in white.  With my black ceilings, I did not want white - but I did not want to step up to the 2000 as it was $2800.  I got the 1000 for $1800 or so through Costco.  While my neighbor had never seen the unit, he's been impressed with the picture.  He's probably spent more time looking at the picture than I have, to this point.
