fwiw the bard's tale dragon gold wasn't half bad.  kinda sweet and more of an ale than a lager as it's labeled.  $2.99 a six, that's a pretty damn good price! (reg price is supposedly 9.99)

So I just found out that there's a Beverages and More near my new apartment and I went to check it out and found myself in beer heaven.

any suggestions on new beers?  there's just too many to choose from.

I like most beers, hefs, dark ales, pretty much anything except bitter belgian beers (blue moon is the exception).

I wanted to get some Rogue Hazelnut brown but they were sold out, so I got a bottle of Hopf Weiber Bock (looked interesting) and a 6pack of Bard's dragon stuff (cheap $2.99/6)

for the first time in a long time with the guys.  An old high school friend is in town from Vegas and a few of us guys are going downtown to raise some hell.  And my wife has actually given me clearance.  Pays that last week she got to go eat dinner with her girlfriends with her perfect hubby watching the boy.

I can't remember the last time I went out with my friends and no wife escort.  Not that I don't like partying with her but it will be nice to have no chance of running into the mean drunk woman that hides inside her sometimes.

So I'm stoked.  Should be getting real d runk tonight.

Fri Night: Hung out with some friends and chatted til the wee hours
Sat Night: Tired from waiting tables for 11 straight hours on only 3 hours of sleep (see previous day's activity), went to sleep early.
Sun: My mom got remarried, alot of shaking hands with people I didn't want to shake hands with, alot of hearing "congratulations" (why are they congratulating me???) and alot of good food.   

Most def.  just finished my last class, had 2 papers due today.
