Title: Did You Mean Tee Shot?
Post by: stroh on September 16, 2007, 10:34:05 AM
Because Tee Ball is an adapted form of baseball played by young children.  A Tee shot is the first shot struck on any given golf hole.

I suppose the only thing worse than: "She hit her tee ball to within 3 feet on 16...."  Would be if she used a 3 metal to do it.

Gaff announcers...... 8)  I'm beginning to think they try to annoy the hell out of us on purpose.

Didn't you know that they're not just doing that on purpose, it is their purpose?

On a side note, it really annoys my dad when they have British announcers (he's not, um, overly fond of the accent).

I don't know.  I kind of like the flavor it adds.  I could listen to Renton Laidlaw all day.  He's dreamy.  Oh, and Faldo.......

I don't mind the accent; my dad and brother do.  Actually, I like accents in general, breaks up the monotony to say the least.  To say the most, well, yeah, it adds character.

Ok.  Some redemption.

 [sm_laughing]

".......244 to the hole.  He's gonna have to wear this one out, to get it all the way back there. "

 ;D I like that one.

Yeah, I guess that must be so.

The Lindberg House in Little Falls was a cool place to visit on one of our vacations.  8)

Filthy Swedes.

Hey!  Better be careful what you say there.  You happen to be talking to someone who's maternal grandmother is pure Swedish and who's maternal grandfather was half.  Then there's my paternal grandfather who was Prussian, German, with a bit of Plaid mixed in for good measure.  Oh, and the other half of my maternal grandfather's lineage was German as well.  Along with that, my paternal grandmother is pure Italian, and I hear the Italian temper runs in the family.  >:(

;) :D

My paternal grandfather.  He loved mashed potatoes.  One of his favorite desserts was apple pie topped with mashed potatoes. :D
