Just walk in, head to the counter, order what you want, pay, and walk out with it. I've always enjoyed browsing the aisles, looking for nothing in particular. It's an interesting store. And quite a few times, while just planning to spend a few moments relaxing, I've found something to give to someone else. Catalogs just aren't the same. :(

My nephew works for Gander Mountain and I haven't heard about this at all. But I guess it's just the Maplewood location as a test-drive. Still, I don't think we'll be heading off to Gander Mountain any time soon - not like we used to anyway - as it will now be at least a 20 minute drive. I hear the new one in Blaine is supposed to be huge and really nice - like a downscale of Cabelas. And, yeah, that's what I'm saying. You walk in, head to the counters, browse inventory by computer, order it, they bring it to you, you purchase and walk out. I'm rather hoping they don't like the results. But I guess it's a response to all the online purchasing that's being done. If it goes over big, well, I don't want to think about that. |
