Title: Police report of the year from my city
Post by: Fuzzy on August 06, 2009, 03:07:15 PM
Susan made sure to point this out to me and no, we don't live on Michelle Avenue.

Our little City has a weekly paper that comes out every Thursday and one of the highlights is the police report section. This week had three worthy submissions but note the entry under Aug. 2 from today's paper:

Dude, I'd have to kill myself if I lived somewhere with a blotter like that.

Does anybody there actually resolve a minor family dispute WITHOUT calling the cops?

It was very definitely an odd week. That's why it caught my attention.

I don't think you can judge where you live by the ranking of the entire city. I think the neighorhood in which you live makes a big difference. So, Fuzzy, how's the neighborhood there on Michelle Avenue?

 ;)  ding ding ding.....we have a winner........

Long story short and I'm not going to get into it for fear of lighting a match in here but gleek's take is spot on. There are places/neighborhoods in most any city that have a disproportionate amount of police calls.
