IMO, Brad Delp was a very under-rated singer. I was always impressed by his command of the upper register without sounding like he's singing falsetto.

Wow! 55, too young. That was such a good band, Scholz was awesome, Delp was awesome, Goudreu was awesome, Fran Shehan was awesome.

Last time I checked that was still the biggest selling debut album in rock history!

STILL!

RIP Brad.

Internationally it's sure to be Robbie Williams.

If we're not just considering true "rock" albums, it seems as though Britney has the worldwide claim for best selling debuts.

...Baby One More Time is thought to have sold 28 million copies worldwide.

I had the privilege of meeting Brad Delp on several occasions and he was a genuinely nice guy and one HELL of a singer.
Sad day for music. :sad3:

My favorite album was the first. I use to stare at the cover and try and imagine the people on the "spaceship". But I digress. The band will never be the same. I would not be surprised if the band never records or performs again.

I've never seen that video for Don't Look Back. That was awesome. Thanks for the link. [sm_thumbsup]
