Hey, I was going to start a "Fire Childress" thread.

You should set up some sort of paypal donation option as a way for people to thank you for the time you putting in helping folks.

Thanks for the idea, it's been suggested before ... but I honestly don't help people to get anything in return.

I do computer repair to what would be a few thousand dollars some months (going by GeekSquad's highway robbery rates) for family and friends (and people I don't even know like relatives of friend's relatives) and a lot of times it's house calls, but I've never charged anyone and don't take their money when they offer (except if they keep insisting). I don't do it for money or any other reason, I just thoroughly enjoy both helping people and fixing PC's.

I normally tell people the experience is my payment. For every computer problem I fix I normally learn how to do at least one thing I didn't know before. Since I'm 100% self-taught in computers and have never had a single computer lesson in my life, everything I know is from personal experience, so the more I get to work on computers the more experience I get and the more I can teach myself.

And ... now I have to go finish writing another script for LBlack14.

If people won't bother to help teach them, they'll never get any better and only get worse.

the funniest thing about that fox pick/return ...

he was only in because timmons was hurt, and they don't let him freelance around like they do with timmons...  he was in the right place at the right time,  timmons wouldn't have been most likely.
