Thought I'd get the early jump on this thread.  What's on tap for the weekend, y'all?  I'm especially interested in the Fourth of July plans for the Chunder Down Under.

Working Friday, Sat and Sun will be doing what Darla wants me to do. We may go see Wall e.

Nothing big. 
I work Thursday 'til 9, and Saturday. :-\
Probably a local carnival on Friday.  Rides, beer, games, bands, fireworks, etc.

You only have beer listed once?

I'm sure I'll have familial obligations Friday involving beer, swimming, a cookout and fireworks.  4th of july tradition and what not. 

My best friend is in town for the summer for Air Traffic Control training and we haven't played golf yet.  So a round of golf and drinking heavily with my old high school buddies on Saturday.  Hang with the fam on Sunday.

Should be a good weekend. 

This is actually the first year we're traveling for the Fourth. A friend of Susan's has invited us to her cabin. We're heading out Wednesday a.m. for a long weekend.

Of course it's in the U.P. of Michigan and it's a 6-7 hour drive so that should be fun.

watched some of the dateline special on the murder at pictured rocks in the U.P. of Michigan.  that place looked really cool. 

of all the places in Michigan to be murdered that's one of the better one's.  ;)

Friday I'll do fireworks and a 4th of July orgy.
Saturday I'll do nothing.
Sunday I'll play golf.

The wife works on the 4th so probably early morning "me" time, chaps optional, and a BBQ at friends' house in the afternoon. The rest of the weekend is probably yardwork.

Does stroh really have to mention beer at all in his weekend plans? That would be like my saying that I plan to turn oxygen into carbon dioxide this weekend.

It is the Far North Queensland golf championships this weekend,  and it is going to be held at our club.
It is a very social weekend, I'm really looking forward to it, and I really hope I play well. 8) ;D

Independance Day??... isn't that the day Bull Pullman beat the Aliens??

Just out of curiosity, is there a difference between Far North Queensland and just the North part of Queensland?

Seems to me it's like calling Minnesota far north Minnesota.

Cardinals vs Mets, with beer.
Golf, with beer and a margarita - followed by my buddies, The Real Me, performing at the Trainwreck Saloon.
Golf, with a margarita (Harrahs gambling potential later).
Golf, with beer (margarita potential as well).

Unless I get a call from the family about a gathering Saturday - that would threaten golf and gambling.

Neighborhood block party on Friday followed by dinner at in-laws.  No plans for the weekend.

For the weekend, dog-sitting, fireworks and beer.

For the following two weeks, beer, a little golf, more beer, yard work/gardening, beer, some home repair/maintenance, maybe beer, floating around in the pool and drinking beer until the 21^st. 8)

Then back to work. [sm_disgust]
