We all have a favorite drink, my question is more toward the adult beverage of choice. Whether it be beer, wine, mixed drink is there a one that you always have or do you mix it up with variety? For example, I like vodka martinis. I have been trying different brands of vodka to see what is good, bad, or indifferent. I have not found a favorite yet. So in that respect I am not dedicated however I am sure if I find the one I may be.

When it comes to wine I am more adventurous. I am willing to try anything and nothing is my favorite. My wife on the other hand is Merlot or Shiraz.

I've often pondered this very question...

The truth is as long as it's alcoholic I'll drink it, unless I know there's a very good chance of it killing me dead right then and there...

I'll get slaughtered for this, but mine is mass produced genuine American watered down beer.  Easy to buy.  Cheap.  Easy to drink.  I'm a simple red blooded American beer drinkin' red neck.  That means cases upon cases of an Anheuser-Busch product in a can.  Or in a big mug on draft at the bar.  Sorry.  It's who I am.  It's what I like.


To further answer your question, and contribute to the thread......I do like, and drink a lot of other things.

Over the winter, we started buying different Vodkas.  I can't say I have found a favorite.  The Costco one is good.

I like tequila, and lately have been drinking a lot of Windsor Coke.  I would say, of the Whiskeys I have had/would order.........Windsor Canadian would be mine.

I'll abstain and defer to the right honorable gentlemen from the great state of Minnesota.

My regular adult beverage is microbrewed beer, but no particular brand.  Usually a hoppy pale ale or an IPA.  If it's not beer, I'll have a margarita (on the rocks).

Cheap, "merikan beer, preferably in a blue can.

Other than that, a good bourbon and I am a happy camper.

I've just come back from golf, had a good game (I had a 74 net, and that was with two 9's on the back nine), and I am enjoying a nice icy cold fourex gold beer right now!!! ;D ;D

Nice score... sounds like the golf was good... but you lose points for the Fourex...lol

Was always a fan of Guinness and Murphy's Stout. I have since resigned myself to one of the very light beers, (Keystone, Miller, Budweiser select, etc.), to keep the carbs down and the triglcerides in check.
I'm pretty versatile with the hard stuff, (oops, that sounded gay) [sm_shock], Clive must be rubbing off on me, (oops, gay again) [sm_oops] [sm_banghead].
Anyway, I having a liking for Gin and Tonic, especially in the summer, Johniie Walker
Black Label and soda, or a good bourbon on the rocks.
Wine really needs to be red, several to choose from.

Beer:
Pretty much everything that's not on stroh's list.   ;)  Oh, I won't go near a Belgian White.   [sm_disgust]

Wine:
$10 merlot.  Go to the Chilean section and play spin the tale on the donkey.

Spirits:
Barcardi and Coke is my old faithful but nothing beats Jameson 1780 in front of the fire on a cold night.

I pretty much just drink Miller Lite now so I can keep an eye on the ole' calorie intake.  But I've met very few beers I didn't like so if I'm feeling frisky I'll have an import lager or ale.

Not much of a hard liquor drinker, but I'll have shots while out on the town like SoCo and Lime or YagerBombs. 

I like wine as long as it is dry and not too fruity.  Or a nice bottle of Champaigne for a special occassion.
