Still have some pepperoon and shroom leftovers in the fridge. Dinner tonight. [sm_headbang] We drive to the U location every 10-12 weeks or so for a pie and a pitcher. The only problem is you have to time it just right. There's a very narrow window between the families with young children/ jr. high age crowd and the high school kid crowd. It's rare to see many actual college students there after 5:00 pm, at least until much later. Mostly they seem hang out there during regular class hours and then surrender the place to the high school crowd who think they know a really hip secret. (I confess, in high school I was part of that crowd, though all my graffiti has been long since covered up.) My first couple of years at the U (1992-1994ish), their quality suffered a bit. I don't know if they were under different management or what, but their sauce and crust sucked and they skimped on toppings. They eventually returned to their former glory. Hard to find a better "traditional style" pizza in the SLC area. Title: Re: What's Your Favorite Pie? Post by: Fuzzy on March 30, 2007, 06:33:48 PM I like pie.
Seriously. But if I had to pick.......French Silk............ |
