Title: Pissed
Post by: spacey on May 07, 2007, 08:09:27 PM
My delay in breaking down and getting cable/satellite has resulted in my not being able to watch the Jazz game tonight. (TNT only, apparently.)  >:(

Just for that, I refuse to watch it too!  Solidarity brother.

I'll give you some updates throughout the game then:

The Jazz blew a 10 point lead and are now up by only 2.

And that's still in the 1st quarter. Looks to be a high scoring affair.  [sm_shock]

Scoring slowed down considerably. 45-45 with 6:20 remaining in the 2nd.

OMG!  Can you believe this turn of events?

Baron Davis with a run of 6 straight 3 pointers!  Boozer out, with what looks to be a blown knee, and the big man in the center, Okur, already out this early in the game with foul trouble?

62 - 48 this early in the 2nd?  Boy, Looks like G.S. slides to an early lead in the series here.

Warriors leading 47-45. Williams takes it coast to coast. Makes the layup with a lucky roll and draws the foul. Now up 48-47. Baron draws the foul on the other end. Williams with the foul.

GS up 52-50. Jazz misses a trey. GS runs a beautiful give and go to Baron for a easy dunk. GS up 54-50.

After a jittery opening few minutes of the game, the Warriors go into halftime with a 66-63 lead.

The Jazz is leading slightly in almost all of the statistical categories except for 3 pointers. GS is 7 for 13 and Utah is 5 for 12. That's the different right there.

Attaining levels of Asshattery, previously thought not possible.

GS got killed on the boards. They also made some really bad turnovers when they could have put the game away.

Man, I wish I could have watched it. Sounds like it was a pretty thrilling game. Looks to be a very intense series. Jazz in 6.

Even more pissed now. I just checked the series schedule and all but two games are on TNT only. Every single 1st round game was shown on local channels. I don't understand why they'd jack me around with the 2nd round. It's not as if they're not going to sellout.  >:(

Guess I'll have to find a place to go watch them.

Drat.  The Warriors and Sharks both lose last night.  It wasn't supposed to happen this way.  The timeline has been corrupted.
