Title: First Range Session Today
Post by: campy on March 24, 2007, 01:52:05 PM
The results are in from my first range session today;  I officially SUCK.   :sad3:

I did have some good drives with an Integra Quadratic/Graman Limey combo, and if my swing ever comes back, it will be an awesome combo, but everything else sucked badly.

What do you think of the Quadratic head?  Forgiveness and sound.  That's the only new driver head I've got my eye on this season.

I think I am going to like the quad.  I wasn't hitting well at all today, and I still had some decent drives with it. Sound is actually a nice muted thump, I was also hitting a BB450 and the difference is night and day.  Personally, for the price I would give it try.

what are the playing characteristics of the limey shaft?

Until I get my swing grooved, and a little more consistent, all I can say about the Limey is that it is extremely smooth, feels tip stiff, and somewhat butt soft, low/mid launch and did I say smooth.  It feels a lot like the Speeder 652 I had in a nemesis head.

I didn't put that many good swings on it, and I had to hit off of mats with a tee height way to high, so that's the best I can do for now.
