- 9/11 attacks
- war in Afghanistan
- war in Iraq
- Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami
- Katrina
- USD all-time low vs. Euro
- CAD nearly equal to USD
- oil prices at all-time high
- gas prices at an all-time high
- all-time highest budget deficits
- national debt surpasses $9 trillion for the first time
- Red Sox win the World Series (twice)

What else?

The housing market crash.  >:(

And a lot of high school kids got laid on prom night, but I'm not sure it's correlative.

Crackdown on airport bathroom ****.

Some bull*feces* tax on booze in Pittsburgh to pay for roads.  Which really hurts us all, in the long run.

Damn and I thought Reagan sucked. 

when it's all said and done,  the bu$hco presidency, while not solely* attributable to him/his policies (though certainly mostly so) will be marked as the time in history when 'merka deteriorated from the world superpower status to a bottom tier 1st world nation at best.
