Of course my video game life is tailored to having a Wii and a 5 and ~11 year old plus a wife who finds the whole video game thing a complete waste of time and money. It's a tricky balance. ;D Title: Re: So... a few months late... Post by: Aske on February 17, 2008, 05:31:47 PM well, it is coming out for Winblows in a month or so, but i can't imagine what the hardware requirements will be.

I didn't take you to be the kind that would like Super Mario 64. Title: Re: So... a few months late... Post by: Spanky on February 18, 2008, 03:04:07 AM Won't work on my system. I can barely run Crysis, which BTW is pretty awesome in graphics. I can only imagine what Dx10 would be like.

Post by: Spanky on February 18, 2008, 10:43:29 AM I almost snagged COD4 too but decided I need to get a new computer first. (looks like that will be a couple months away though) :sad3:

Post by: Aske on February 18, 2008, 10:58:43 AM i played COD4 a few nights ago at a buddy's place on the 360, it was insane in the graphics- we only played a few rounds of heads up multiplayer, but it really really was pristine all throughout, no bogdowns, no smoke/fire graphics flaws, etc. the only thing holding me back from getting it is : he said the single player game mode is very short, and I don't play online yet... so...
heh Title: Re: So... a few months late... One of my co-workers has it and all he does is play online. He has played all night before. I think this game was really meant to be played online instead of single player.heh Title: Re: So... a few months late... Have played COD4 and while visually cool, I bored of it rather quickly. How many times can you remake a FPS and be stimulating? I still prefer ET:Quake Wars - while not as visually cool (still good, just not 'fantastic'), its teamwork and game play are more interesting. Title: Re: So... a few months late... Post by: Aske on March 08, 2008, 07:48:48 PM follow up, i finished this 1st pass with about 70% total completion (according to gamerscore) in about 40 hours of playtime. totally badass except* for makign me want the sequel to be out RIGHT *fiddlesticks*N NOW. oh well, probably 6-10 months to finish that last 30%. oh, and to hone in on the art of the 'comical kill'
