I sense this is a forum for people who like to talk about a lot of stuff, generally have fun and share an interest in golf. As opposed to a bunch of golfers who sometimes like to talk about other stuff. Personally I can only "talk" about golf so long before I get bored. I'd rather play. I also have noticed that the Saloon/Clubhouse/19th hole is generally the most active area of most golf forums. This one probably more than most. And..it's winter so not a lot of golf going on now anyway. When it's freezing out it really bugs me that I can't get out to play. Even at Golfdope, which makes an effort to talk golf, the Watering Hole has consistently been its leader in number of threads and posts. It's just the way it is at any website where the people know one another.
