On the other (and I'm sure I'll be corrected, out argued and put in my place quickly so I'll slowly dip my toe in the pool) I don't know that I'm totally down with that. Disclaimer: I served. U.S. Army 87-91 Desert Storm. I had to cut off my long hair. Now I'm not claiming or comparing what I had is anything close to the Sikh deal, but my point is the reason I had to do it as did everyone else is uniformity. That is to say if you want this; this is what you have to do. I'm not sure how I can see an exception. Kinda like the women wanting a driver's license in a Burka.
