Dallas is the first team that popped into my head.  Jones would be an owner not afraid to make a move for him.

They're off to a great start, but Glenn is hurt.  Add Smith to the mix and you really have something.

Green Bay, Philly, P'burgh are other teams that could use him, but I just don't see those franchises making a move for him.  Not that he's moving - its all hypothetical pondering.

I'd love to see Minny do something. We desperately need a #1 receiver. Probably wouldn't help anyway what with our top level QB's........ :sad3:

What about the obvious?

Ziggy's got deep pockets.  I think we're still 25 mil. under the cap.

Don't you need a QB to throw him the ball?  ;)

But seriously, I guess it wouldn't be a bad move, but the Vikes don't seem to be ready this year.  Perhaps Smith would go there anyway, but I bet he'd prefer to go somewhere thats contending now.

ditto, the guy is one of the hardest competitors out there.  he wants to play for a winner and deserves it.  he single handedly got them the 1st down to set up the game winning FG yesterday  by driving through 3 tacklers to get 3-4 yards after contact and a new 1st down.  considering he might weigh 175#,  that's damn impressive.

Yeah - if 7 years ago meant anything, the Rams would still be good  [sm_disgust]

LOL

It really just sucks that Red McCombs "blew up" a really decent team.  I mean Chris Carter retired in Miami, for *fudge*'s sake.
