After retiring my beloved Foot Joy sandals when they developed an incurable case of the stanks, I thought I would give Bite sandals a try since Golfsmith happened to have a nice looking pair on sale. Played my first round with them today, and the verdict is not good. 1st hole: Rear strap broke on the left sandal while walking to the green. 4th hole: Rear strap broke on the right sandal while walking to the tee box. I was riding in a cart, so I am going to assume that I maybe got 400 feet of mileage out of them before they screwed the pooch. My wife is blaming my Flinstone feet, I'm blaming Bite for manufacturing junk...too bad really, as I liked the pair of Bite shoes I had. I've probably only used them about 4 times, all in a cart. I don't think I'd want to walk a round in them, though.

Current pair is exactly the same thing you have, but no spikes and worn as regular sandals with the occasional 9 holes thrown in. 90 pct of the time, I don't have the back straps hooked up so they're more like a flip flop. I seem to recall that they were sold to Adidas a year or so ago, so quality control may not be what it used to be. I'd definitely contact Bite and see what they have to say about that deal...
