Loco Pro was definitely worth $100, and easily worth $250+..... unless you hit a draw/hook already Title: Re: Top Flite Irons OMG!!!!!!!!! Post by: TFT on January 26, 2007, 01:06:22 PM The Loco Pro was great actually.
I used it until the shaft snapped (hosel break) on a driving range pre-game. It went about 50 yards downrange. :'( I have it shafted with a stiff Evo now, which means it's useless to me. The TFTs are actually pretty good, but I haven't really tested them. (I have 3 other sets still waiting for test time) Some are still in the wrappers. I bought them for about $85 new, graphite s shafts. :o Rory used them when he came to visit and he said they did well enough. Title: Re: Top Flite Irons OMG!!!!!!!!! Post by: Blader on February 01, 2007, 11:15:26 AM They're about what you'd expect in the $100 range. I picked up a graphite-shafted set for Blader Jr.
He's not a big fan of the wide soles. Won't touch the PW anywhere near the green. Prefers a 13 degree bounce sandwedge for tight lies instead!! LOL!!! I picked up Miss Blader, my highschool freshman trying out for the girls golf team, a $168 '17-piece mens golf club set including hybrid' from Zevo. I'll tell you what, the 17 piece Zevo set is some serious OMG!!!! Title: Re: Top Flite Irons OMG!!!!!!!!! Post by: lg on February 09, 2007, 06:22:36 PM First post on this forum and it is a good place for it. I bought a set with graphite shafts last fall for $67 off ebay new. I found them to be an excellent club for the winter season. The wide sole works very well on the wet fairways for me.
In the spring this year I went back and forth, but as the season progressed eventually moved back to my older set. This winter I am again using the TFT, but have bought heads and shafts for a new set this spring - new heads are the M-05. I plan to try graphite shafts in them, but have a set of Ti shafts as a backup if I don't like the graphite shafts ebayed. Title: Re: Top Flite Irons OMG!!!!!!!!!
