The night is still young, the Cowboys were leading the Pats and look what happened.

But nothing wrong with an underdog winning.

Unlikely. Though, I'll venture to guess that tonight most (all?) here are Baltimore fans.

Pats defense getting worked. By Boller, no less.

If Ed Reed didn't carry the rock like it was a purse, the Ravens would be up by at least 10 right now.

Just had two WTF? moments. I'm in Korea right now for my what seems annual December trip and we just went to lunch. Little restaurant in a suburb of Seoul and they had the game on the TV in the corner. Small world.

Secondly, Baltimore is beating NE? I've got to get to a meeting so keep me posted boys.

ravens should just let the patriots score.  there's no way they are stopping them the way luck is hitting them right now.

probably agreed  [sm_disgust], but...

steelers D  is significantly better than the ravens.  if the ravens can hold them to 27,  the steelers have a shot to hold them under 24 (which i have been saying for weeks).   20-21 is looking very realistic perhaps.   if the steelers can run the ball at all, they have a shot.

I see the Steelers as the only obstacle to 16-0.

Depending on how the playoff draw lays out, 19-0 would seem damn near impossible.

Ahh, the innocence and blind optimism of youth. One day you too will be bitter and pessimistic from the let down of losses year after year. One day you will wake up and realize that your team will never win the big one. As long as you are alive your team will get close but never reach the brass ring.

Oh, I'm sorry I thought we were tallking about the Bills. Viks might make it there in a year or two but not this year.

Chuck Foreman's feelings are hurt.  :sad3:

Quote
The Minnesota Vikings made him their first round draft choice in 1973, selecting him with the 12th overall pick in the draft. He was a consensus choice as the National Football Conference (NFC) Rookie of the Year in 1973, when he rushed for 801 yards on 182 attempts and caught 37 passes for 362 yards..............
Foreman was named NFC player of the year by The Sporting News in 1974 and by UPI in 1976. He was named All-Pro in 1975 and played in five consecutive Pro Bowls (1973-1977). Foreman had 3 straight seasons rushing for 1,000+ yards (1975-1977) and scored a then NFC record 22 Touchdowns in 14 games during the 1975 campaign. During that same season, he also led the NFL in receptions with 73, a record for receptions by a running back. Foreman amassed 51 touchdowns over a 3 year span (1974-1976). Foreman played in 3 Super Bowls with the Vikings.

Oh, without question.  We need a veteran presence, for mentoring, and injury backup.  Not Kelly Holcomb, or Koy *fudge*in' Detmer.  >:(

We missed a great opportunity in Garcia.

i guess big ben  set the bar for rookie qb's who inherit the job on a team with a good running game, solid run d, and average pass  D    pretty high  a few years ago .   ;)

the funny thing is,  I still think he's wasted in your offense

this should happen  6-12 times a game:
as well as your Oline run blocks, and with taylor as an adequate   RB,  you should line up peterson on the wide weak side wing and force the defense to commit  2-3 men to that side (at which point you hand off to taylor and gain 10 a play...)  or else gamble the  iso 1-1 matchup WLB in that much space  is good enough (which the last few weeks we have seen to be suicide)....

Agree, the only time they line him up as a WR is on reverses.
