Title: EPL Fantasy - Week 7 Post by: hobbit on September 21, 2007, 07:24:40 PM Rosicky got hurt and as much as I have a man-crush on him, I decided to make some moves. Used my wild card to complete the transfers needed and really upgraded the team methinks!! ;D
Schmeichel Vidic Campbell McShane Gilberto Dempsey Essien Fabregas Torres Van Persie Tevez Captain still in limbo - Torres or Fabregas to be sure :D Actually leaving Ferdinand on the bench vs. Chelsea - the Blues may be pumped up for the new coach ;). Rooney's return may do something for Tevez but I'm tired of waiting. Gunners have Derby this week and it could be a goal-fest.
Some nice moves there Rick. I'm still figuring out a way to get Torres on my team but Rafa is such a nut about sitting people I need to stick to Pool players who will start and likely finish matches. Ben Haim sitting for sure this week. Who knows what's going to happen with Chelsea. Terry, Lampard, Carvalho and Drogba are all in the tabloids talking moves. Understood, it's the British tabloids but still. As with every week, I have have in front of me a can't fail lineup. ;) Funny how that doesn't usually work out. Torres sits for 60 minutes and earns a single point. Of course, he did it to me with Finnan and only put him in at the 87th minute. Watch Ben Haim earn 12 points tomorrow (he's my first sub). I made one good move (Fabregas), but the rest of my lineup was full of mistakes. Thankfully auto-substitution got me another 7 points to make the week respectable. Now to decide what transfer to make for next week - I'm definitely making one.
