You ever get anyone that got stuck or absolutely freaked out in the MRI?

I heard he did just today.  Something about diving in with 50 chickens and five gallons of Wesson Oil.

Hey stroh, you ever use that big ol' MRI to heat up your lunch?  'Cause that would be awesome!

LOL @ the other posts.

Stuck:  Not truly stuck.  I've had plenty of people that didn't fit.  Stopped the table from moving.  Kind of a "thoomp" going into the tube.   ;D

Freak out:  Every day.

Most of them are a PITA though before you even start.  Seldom do they "lose it" part way through.  But yeah.  Claustrophobia is a huge part of what I deal with in this job.  From whiny ass (STFU, and get into the tube) to people coming out drenched in sweat telling stories of car accidents, torture, military operations, you name it.

1 big one I can think of off hand, but I don't have the time to type it out now.  I'll see if I can throw it up later.  :D

I had an MRI on my shoulder after DS2.  The tech seemed quite overly concerned that I fully understand that the tube interior was small -- quite small -- and to pipe up right away if I had the slightest apprehension, now or during my "insertion".

I just kept thinking, "STFU, and let me get into the tube!"

Seems to me this is your standard refrain - MRI or no MRI.

Hey Stroh, you ever use your MRI to irradiate your golf balls to get more distance?
