I have heard/read the same thing. I've passed a few cars lately with very bright lights that have a purple hue. Must be them. Title: Re: Anyone have those sylvania ultrabright headlights? Post by: tdcoly on December 06, 2008, 08:54:59 PM its the only aftermarket change I made to the car. lol Sure, first the headlights, then taillights. Next is the body kit and lower springs. Save your money for 20's and tires, then a cold air intake and a fart-can muffler. [sm_devil] Title: Re: Anyone have those sylvania ultrabright headlights? If i wanted a sports car , I would have just bought a used one and reconditioned/rebuilt it. In fact, I plan to do exactly that, should I ever get a good enough job to afford it (more like afford a house/garage and nice set of tools. Post by: MFAWG on December 07, 2008, 03:28:12 PM I actually wasn't aware that mixed parentage folks were using it to describe themselves. I've ALWAYS heard it in the derogatory sense when referring to a white guy who's trying a little too hard.

Title: Re: Anyone have those sylvania ultrabright headlights? Post by: Clive on December 08, 2008, 10:37:52 PM I have the Osram SilverStars in my car and bike. They make a difference, but not an OMG difference. For the increased illumination and cost, I'd buy them again.
