Title: Dream Car?
Post by: spacey on January 22, 2007, 11:05:56 AM
So... barring any social, political, environmental, economic, etc. objections, if you were offered the chance to have any car you wished, from any manufacturer, year, era, etc., what would it be?

Mine: 1967 Corvette 427 (Coupe)

It's a Ford 5lt V8 "Ute" (Utility).  A traditional aussie car. Mostly used by Trades people.  Most often they have the soft torneua cover, but this model has the hard cover.  I guess it's like a pick up truck only based on a sedan...   ;D

I'm with stroh on the car, but I'll take mine in black, and lose the convertible:

But, if it's truely a dream, then one of these with a driver would be it:

It might not be the fastest vehicle in this thread, but it's got a few safety features that I like. You just have to watch out for the harpoon and tow cables.

Car and Driver had a feature several years ago called Q-Ships or something like that. Basically stealth autoz that look pedestrian but can blow your doors off.

Being a golfer and a family kinda guy, I'd be so down with this.

Mine would be black with serious 100% Made in Germany Mugen installed.

I knew s guy who owned one of those (I think there was four or five of them built). He was the founder of "Cybergenics" if anyone remembers that stuff. A real fitness buff, built like a house. Keeled over and died at age 40. Don't use Cybergenics, or maybe don't buy a Batmobile, or maybe both.

Is the utility belt large enough to hold a TM headcover?

No, but the headcover has a strange sticky property to it, so he gets it to attach fine.
