Title: Mail-in rebates Post by: Teed on November 28, 2006, 05:19:30 AM Do you guys take the time to complete and send in? I know the big companies bank on consumers not taking the time to do it. After this past BF haul, I'm mailing in a lot of rebates.

Title: Re: Mail-in rebates Post by: stegerman on November 28, 2006, 06:39:19 AM My wife does. Unless it's a huge rebate, I'd almost rather pay a little more than have to fill out all that paper work.
Title: Re: Mail-in rebates Post by: Uisce Beatha on November 28, 2006, 07:12:32 AM I hate the concept. Always have but it's worse now. I just farked up $250 in rebates over two items because I didn't submit them in time. :'( :'(

Title: Re: Mail-in rebates Post by: Aske on November 28, 2006, 07:20:26 AM unless we forget...
we're pretty good about it. i mean, yes, instant rebates are better, but as long as you get the mail=in, why not Title: Re: Mail-in rebates Post by: stroh on November 28, 2006, 07:30:16 AM Wife does. What really pizzes me off, is mail in rebates, in the form of a "merchandise check" >:( >:( Don't get me started!
Title: Re: Mail-in rebates Post by: spacey on November 28, 2006, 08:21:30 AM I'll send them in if it's a significant dollar amount (~$50+). When we bought our new fridge we were offered a $300 rebate on it, but one of the people at the Sears rebate center keyed it in wrong. Due to their processing error it took us almost 8 months to get our check. >:(
