Title: No warm up for Phil
Post by: Eagleone on March 29, 2007, 06:26:27 AM
Looks as if Phil won't get to defend his title prior to the Masters and the PGA has changed the schedule.  So how's this going to affect him at Augusta?  Got to remember it was at the Bell South where he first put the two drivers in play in prep for the following week and he won going away.  So what will Phil do next?

Phil says he's not playing Houston so he can play more at Augusta....

I don't think it affects him at all....

50 practice rounds at Augusta probably.

There was a good article on, I think, espn.com the other day.  Basically Phil defending being Phil.  He had some very good points and some fairly bizarre ones.  All I know is this dude has stepped it up a notch when it comes to being ready for 3 of the 4 majors.  I wouldn't count him off a first page finish right now.  Should be interesting.
