Title: Hey stroh

When someone has to get a contrasting type MRI what does it entail? Does anyone get sick from the "dye"? Just wondering because I will probably need another MRI and doc might decide to do this type this time.

Well, kind of tough to answer the way you wrote it.  A contrasted study uses dye.  It is kind of all over the place on what we use it for.  (What type of MR are you having?)  No the dye/contrast/gadolinium doesn't make you sick.

Sorry, not a good answer, but give me some more details.  (in pm if you want)
