This whole thing is the POTUS fault for not reacting to the disaster quickly enough, and not being able to control the ocean tides like he said he could during his inaugural address. And no, I am not making that up. Somebody correct me on an important detail before it disappears down the memory hole: Didn't BP say the spill was contained and/or capped for several days after the initial explosion? I literally wanted to just reach through the radio and punch him in the fat lying smug mouth. but then I realized as terrible as he is, he's not THE problem. THE problem is the ~50M or so 'merkans out there who (on both sides, but certainly seems to be a bit more dominated one way) that will literally believe ANYTHING they are told, who refuse to listen to rational logic, etc... just because someone evokes an emotion in them and plays to their victim/fear/etc/whatever. Seriously, this is really lose/lose if the worst case scenarios of months of kilobarrel seepage are true.
