I met Mr. Jackson in 1993 at the Oregon Brewers Festival after the AHA convention. We had just received samples of Bridgeport's festival beer, Pin Tail Ale and he asked me what I thought of it. When I lived in CA, myself and a couple of friends used to make a road trip up every year, intent on hitting as many micro-breweries as we could on the trip up and back. We used to stay at the Kennedy school McMenamins, and stayed pretty much hammered for 4 days. We've got several of her pieces about the house. #2 son lives in Portland. Can't wait to get back there.
