Title: 24 ?
Post by: stroh on January 14, 2007, 05:33:39 PM
Anybody?

The first 3 years, I was all about it.  I can't even bring myself to watch the opener this year.  Karen's watching it.  One of the few shows she likes.(maybe it's Keifer, I dunno.  He's no Tom Brady.)

I don't think I'll bite this year.

Ya'll?

I don't know if I should say.  How many seasons has your government allowed you to receive yet?

 ;) ;D

I've never gotten into the show either. Not sure why though.

I'm wating for The Shield to return. Vic rocks and makes Chuck Norris think twice.

Got into 24 about a year ago.  Since then my son and I have been trying to catch up via DVD.  Did the last five episodes of season five last night and just made it time for tonight's premiere.   :o

This will be pretty much the only dramatic show I watch.  Colbert, sports and news otherwise.  BBC America reruns are always good.

Have never been a Keifer fan, though started watching 24 during season 2 - my dad is a fan and it's nice to have something to talk about.  My wife has become an addict.

Last year, I thought was pretty fun.  The year before, I could have done without.

We watched it tonight.  I went through the 10 minutes discussion with my dad.  As long as my wife and dad watch it, I will too.

Nope.  Not much of a "gotta see my shows" kind of guy.

I can vouch for that.  You're clearly more of a "gotta soft step to my show tunes" kind of guy.

If I say "ditto" am I also contractually obliged to say something about "#1 Run Defense?"

For example, I know from here and FGI that "Denny Crane" has something to do with William Shatner on a TV show.  I know nothing more than that about it.

My wife watches Studio 60, so I sit with her on Monday nights and watch.  If we miss recording it, I feel bad ... for her.  That's it for weekly TV shows for me.

I don't watch it on TV.  I get the DVD's and watch them in order til my brain goes dead.  I've seen up to season 4 and it gets better each season, supposedly season 5 is better than 4 too.  Was planning on watching season 5 over winter break but that never happened.

One time I saw an entire season in 3 days.   [sm_shock]

I also enjoy Studio 60. Unfortunately I think it's too intelligent (not to mention too liberal) for Middle America to latch on to. I doubt it will run beyond this season.

i figured an attorney would surely get a kick out of the show, and especially this character.

Okay, I should have clarified.

Could you be more condescending without using the words "spunk monkey"?

I ain't too smart and I ain't too liberal, but I like the show.  Good characters, crisp writing.  I hope it finds a way to stick around.  Another Sorkin creation, The West Wing, has found a loyal viewership, though I'm not counted among the viewers.
