Title: Best looking lineup Post by: Spanky on March 22, 2008, 11:41:02 AM Alright, putting OEM vs Component, forged vs cast, etc... aside what major manufacturer has the best looking equipment lineup?
I'm talking pure aesthetics there and not what you would play, could play. If you were to pick only on looks what is your pick or picks? You can list hates too. Like: Callaway - I like the looks of the whole lineup for the most part, even the new Big Bertha irons. Mizuno - Irons are by far the nicest looking of them all Ping - I use to hate them but like them now Dislike: Taylor Made - too much to them, I tend to like simpler looks Nike - Irons are just butt ugly (see Sumo) Title: Re: Best looking lineup Post by: Aske on March 22, 2008, 12:18:48 PM like :

Drivers: Nak, Versus and Geek are the best looking IMO Irons: Wishon 555c or 560 mc, Maltby MCC Wedges: Scratch or Eidolon The only OEM club I'd consider buying would be a Taylormade Burner. I always liked the burners and I hit the newer one with some success. No one nominates the Glider X or any other very playable iron.

All modern drivers are butt ugly with the possible exception of the Louisville stuff. For wedges, I like the Fourteens. |
