I feel I must resign my association to this board, effective immediately.

It is with great sadness, but I feel I have committed an act most egregious in the eyes of this body.

A most heinous offense.

We were having a good day, kids playing, I was drinking beer.........Karen walks up and says "If we leave now, we can make the 5 o'clock Simpsons..........."  I said "Oh, man.  you're kidding?"   ??? : Next is Maddie saying "Dad, You're supposed to come up here, so we can go."   [sm_shock]

Let me back up.  For some reason, I have been sick for a while.  It really sucks.  I got some weird kind of *feces* going in the middle of July.  Who gets sick in July?  All I know is I don't feel right. 

AnyHoo..........They come out of the house and say  "We're goin' "

I said "Sorry, I'm just not up for it."


Here's the deal:  I don't feel great.........but I'm just not into going to see a movie at a movie theater.  I never do.  I feel it's a waste of time.  I hate it.  I don't wanna go.

They just left. 

I skipped going to see the Simpsons movie.   :sad3:

If said theater does not serve beer, which would allow you to continue drinking (you know to cure that "sickness") then I believe you get a free pass. [sm_dontknow]

Man I some how figgered you'd be the first in line come hell or high water.

I hear you about movie theaters.  I haven't been to one in several months and there's a bunch of movies out right now that I'd like to see (diehard, transformers, simpsons).

The wife and I were talking over lunch about going out to see a movie tonight, and in the past I would have been fired up, but I was kind of meh.  The only thing that got me sort of interested was going to see Once at an indie theater.

BTW, I can't stay awake after the first fifteen minutes of any movie.

Won't go see it at the cinema.  Won't see it when it comes to me.  Won't see it when it's on late night cable and I'm having an insomnia episode.

The last movie I saw in a movie theater was X2. No joke.

Hate going to the movie theater too man.

By the time all the *goshdarn* previews are over, I'm not high anymore.  It just isn't worth it.
