Title: Office break room microwave etiquette question Post by: spacey on May 13, 2008, 11:18:42 AM Based on other topics of a similar nature, I am obviously not privy to all the subtle nuances of office break room microwave politics. I need help digesting the following scenario:
It's not quite time for the typical lunchtime rush in the break room, but it is only moments away. I have two containers that require microwaving and there are two open microwaves at my disposal. It is possible, if not likely, that the heating time will overlap slightly the start of the lunchtime rush, meaning I'll be occupying both microwaves while someone is likely waiting to use one of them, if only for a minute or two. If I reheat both containers in the same microwave it will assuredly tie up the one microwave longer but leave the other free. I have no plans to leave the break room or leave the microwave/s unattended until my food is done heating. What is the ruling?
