Just had this cued up to post.

*fudge* him. And the geniuses running this team.

The fact that the Vikings have waited this long and allowed Favre to string this along, just goes to show that deep down they know T-Suck and Rosenfail will lead us to another above average year. With a first round ouster in the playoffs very likely.

According to the Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport, a plane with a Vikings logo on the tail left Mississippi within the hour and was headed to Minneapolis.

The administrative office at the airport told WISN 12 News that Brett and Deanna Favre were on the plane.

Brett Favre, it seems, will be a Viking after all.

A Hattiesburg television station reported today that Favre boarded a plane this morning at the Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport. The plane was headed for St. Paul. Sources said Favre boarded by himself and commented, "We may know something by dinner."

A source also told the Star Tribune that Favre is headed to Minnesota.

Only after the first loss.  Then:

Seriously, though, I won't.  It's no secret that for years we have need help at one spot.  I don't care how much he jerked things around, he's not only an upgrade, but right now a definite answer.  I'll take him no matter what.  We finish deep this season, he's healthy, I'll look at another year, and draft a young gun to learn this offseason.

No. Basically what stroh said. They are, were, will be my club.

But this is it for Chilly. If Favre stays healthy and they crash and burn, he can kiss his extension good-bye. This is an all-in move to do more than just win the division.

Should be fun.

What are the chances it's reverse Ocho Cinco?

Mr. Wilf,

We are currently in possession of 3.5 million #4 Favre Vikings Jerseys with a MSRP of 99.00.
We also have a *feces*load of the crappy ones we ship out to places like WalMart and Target to sell for 40 bucks.

Uh, how can I put this?

His as will be on that 53 man roster.  Period.

I'll be watching Sports Center.

EPIC FAIL coming up.  The best part is the Pack stopped putting up with his *feces* and he goes and does it to a division rival.  Favre played mediocre the first part of last season and was down-right atrocious the last half.  He is back to his old ways.  He won't play in the system.  He'll force passes but doesn't have the arm to do it.  THen he'll just chunck it up 40 yards downfield as if playing 500 in his front yard.  I'm so glad the Pack's rivals are creating this circus and putting up with his *feces*.  It will cost them the playoffs, mark my words.

Go Packers!

Two years ago Brett Favre's last pass as a Green Bay Packer was intercepted in overtime and the New York Giants went on to win the conference championship, and eventually the Super Bowl.  I have this sneaking suspicion that if Favre had not thrown that interception, and lead the Packers to the conference title, regardless of what would have happened in the Super Bowl, he would have stayed retired.

I suspect the the idea of the last pass of his career being intercepted and preventing his team from making it to the Super Bowl had a lot to do with his decision to come out of retirement.  He didn't want his "legacy" to include an inteception that cost his team a shot at the title.

You're probably right.  Sad part is it will now end with a string of about 29.  They'll put in Rosenfail before he gets to thirty after they're mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
